Greeting, my esteemed friends,
I have a little query that I was curious to ask anyone who may happen upon my delightful user-page.
I've been learning a bit of AS2 and putting together silly little games and have got to the point where I actually quite enjoy it and would like to learn more.
So, my question is this: Should I continue learning AS2 with all the resources available to me (including books and on-line tutorials) or, if I'm serious about learning, should I step up my game and jump feet first into AS3?
What are the advantages of AS2? (slightly easier, more available resources?...)
What are the advantages of AS3? (better programming, future employment?...)
You guys are cleverer than me so I thought I'd ask your advice.
What are your experiences/opinions?
-HW :D
